String Theory and other perspectives

Physics still struggles to unify our understanding of the very small, and the very large. However, Cosmology, and in particular String Theory (including 'M Theory'), offer some hope of finding a so called 'theory of everything'.

For me, this mirrors our own struggle - to understand and to integrate the very small and the very large - in whatever terms or perspective you want to take that.
